Folio 307 has been almost completely cut out of the codex. Five other leaves appear to have been cut out between f. 307-308, but there is no evidence that they contained text. Evidently these leaves were cut out before the folio numbers were added.
Some early folios show evidence of water damage.

Catchwords on lower right corner, last verso of each quire. Folio citations given in this record are to the numbers actually written on the folio.
Script: Written in a Gothic bâtarde script by several different hands.
Decoration: 5-line initial in red and blue with green penwork ornamentation (f. 1r); alternating blue and red initials, with capitals stroked in red throughout.
Watermarks: Seven different bull's heads; similar to Piccard II. xiii. 681 (Germany, 1474); Piccard II. xii. 642 (Germany, 1461-64); Piccard II. xv. 357-358 (Germany, 1473-74); Piccard II. xv. 216-217 (Germany, 1474-82); Piccard II. xiii. 742 (Germany, 1476-78); Piccard II. xi. 241-242 (Germany, 1470-80); Piccard II. xv. 341-342 (Germany, 1476-82).
Binding: 15th-century German blind stamped calf over boards (rebacked, ca. 19th century). Leather split, cracked and crumbling, especially on spine; lower cover completely detached, upper cover nearly detached.
Origin: Written in Germany in the late 15th century. Text of the Pfeuffer work is dated 1477 in colophon (f. 307r).
