Top edge of leaves and binding blackened, as if from fire; outer leaves are darkened; f. 1 has been cut in half vertically.

Layout: Written in 20 long lines; frame-ruled in ink; prickings visible.
Script: Written in a Gothic book script by several hands.
Decoration: 3-line blue initial with red penwork ornamentation (f. 2r); rubricated capitals, initials, paragraph marks, and underlining.
Binding: Vellum.
