Layout: Written in 2 columns of 30 lines (f. 1-60) and 39 lines (f. 61-65); ruled in lead; some prickings visible on last few leaves.
Script: Written in a Gothic book script by several hands; text is continued in a later [possibly early 14th-century?] hand (f. 61v-65v), with headings added in a slightly later hand and marginal notes in several hands; includes a number of pointing fingers or hands, some humorous.
Decoration: Red and blue used for rubrication, 2-line red and blue initials with penwork ornamentation (f. 1-60).
Binding: Modern boards.
Origin: Written in France[?] in the 13th century (Zacour-Hirsch).
