Physical description: 21 lines per page; written in naskh brown on heavy glazed, laid Arabic paper. Headings in large script. Rubrication and catchwords; extensive marginal notes. Marginal damp staining, mild insect damage, and some borders mended. A few bound inserts. Leaves i-ii are later additions; leaves 1(bis)-1 are replacements. Origin: 1 Jumādá ... [?], by ʻAlī ibn Mukātib [?] ibn ʻUmar [?] ibn Yaḥyá (leaf 268a). 15th or 16th century? On leaf ia, owner's note by ʻAlī ibn Ibrāhīm al-Bannānī. Acquired by Robert Garrett from Brill, 1925, from the books of Murād Bey al-Bārūdī (Beirut).
