Incipit prologus expositionis magistri Nycolai Trivet super regulam beati Augustini episcopi... (f. 1r). Incipit, cap. 1: Ante omnia fratres carissimi diligatur Deus (f. 1v).
Foliation: Parchment, i (modern paper) + 48 + i (modern paper); [1-48]; modern foliation in pencil, upper right recto.
Layout: Written in 2 columns of 47 lines; ruled in lead.
Script: Written in a Gothic book script.
Decoration: 9-line red and blue initial with red and green penwork ornamentation (f. 1r); simple red initials throughout; extensive rubrication used for headings, paragraph markers, capitals, and underlining.
Binding: Modern vellum.
Origin: Written in the lower Rhine valley[?] or Lowlands in the 15th century (Zacour-Hirsch).
