The mss. Gotha 1041 and Bologna 196/7 (listed in Brockelmann, GAL, S I, 644, lin. 9) as well as Vatican 477 (2) and Garrett no. 4179Y of the present collection (margin of fol. 1b, later hand) bear the title al-Nuqāyah (the authorʼs name does not appear) - this would suggest that our text is identical with the Nuqāyah described by Ḥājjī Khalīfah, Kashf al-ẓunūn, col. 1971 (VI, 373, no. 13951...
