Physical description: Number of lines per page varies (from 36 to 25). Written in small naskh in black ink with use of red in Text 2. Dark cream paper, glossy, with laid lines and chain lines visible. Fol. 1 and 196 are later additions. Stained with dampness ; some worm damage ; a few loose leaves.
Inscription in Arabic script in red pencil on fol. 1a: "Raqm 78".
Origin: According to colophon, Text 2 copied by Yūsuf ibn Ibrāhīm, and completed in Mecca, on Wednesday 9 Rajab 848 [Oct. 22, 1444] (fol. 193b).
Several ownership statements on fol. 1a. Reading statement in the name of al-faqīr Sulaymān on fol. 193b. Acquired from Abraham Shalom Yahuda, 1942.
