Physical description: 11 lines per page. Written in black ink with use of red for headings. Cream paper, glossy, with laid and chain lines visible. Fol. 1-3 and 147 are later additions (European paper with watermarks). Interlinear and marginal ḥāshiyah. Table of contents on fol. 1b-2a. Several inscriptions and short excerpts on fol. 4a. Inscriptions in Arabic script on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Ḥ 1393" (on a label); "504" (in red pencil). Inscription in Arabic script black pencil on fol. 1a: "240 Kanz al-daqāʼiq".
Origin: According to colophon, copy completed in Ramaḍān 873 [March-April 1469] by Khalīl ibn Ṭūrīlī(?) (fol. 142b, with two lines of poetry; copyist's name added at the end)
