Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Ḥ 239". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Ḥ 950". Origin: Copied by Amīr Maḥmūd ibn Ilyās ibn Amīr al-Khaṭīb in Qarah Warīd(?) on a Thursday of Muḥarram 882 [April-May, 1477] (colophon, fol. 340b). Two ownership statements on fol. 11a, in the name of Luṭf al-Mudarris, from Dār al-Khilāfah, and of Sharīf Pāshā Zade Sayyid Muḥammad Asfahd(?), the latter dated Muḥarram 1307 [Sept. 1889]. Acquired from Abraham Shalom Yahuda, 1942.
