Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Foliation in Western numerals in pencil. Cream paper with visible laid lines and prominent fibres. Some marginal annotation throughout. Oblong ownership seal on fol. 2a. Title on the lower edge of text block: Wiqāyah. Ownership signature in black ink laced with gold glitter on fol. 1a in the name of Ahmet ibn Pir Mehmet, known as Müftü Zade, the former kadi of Alaca Hisar. A caligraphic ownership signature in black ink laced with gold glitter on fol. 2a in the name of Saʻdī ʻĪsá Amīr Khān [?], dated [1]100 (1688-89). If the date is a later addition, this could be the signature of the Shaykh al-Islām Saʻdī Chalabī, Saʻd Allāh ibn ʻĪsá ibn Amīr Khān (d. 1538 or 9).
