Physical description: 25 lines per page; written in naskhi script in black ink on white European glazed, laid paper. Vol. 1 is larger and written by a different hand. Catchwords. Some dampstaining, mostly marginal. First volume has some insect damage on inner margin. First 9 leaves missing from vol. 1. Index for vol. 4 on fol. 1b by a later hand and dated 1269 AH (1852 or 3).
Origin: Vol. 4 completed on 28 Shaʻbān 1239 AH (29 March 1824) by Muḥammad al-Ḥāmī (fol. 540b).
