Spine cracking and crumbling at hinges. Various stains and smudges on some leaves. Edges of folios show evidence of later repairs.

Incipit and explicit of prologue of first work (f. 1r): Si chome la misericordia e la verità guardano loro et la chlemenzia exalta ... La giustizia si dipingeva antichamente con molto d'oro e da quella principalmente chominciaremo.

Incipit and explicit of second work (f. 25v): Chonsiderando una stagione lo stato mio ... e veggendomi subitamente chaduto di buono luogo in malvagio ... (f. 52v) ... Disse un savio lo principe dee esser tardo e pigro in dare la pena, ma in perdonare et dare perdono[?] dee esser tostano et veloce. Deo gratias amen.
Foliation: Paper, i (modern paper) + 52 + i (modern paper); [1-52]; modern foliation in pencil, upper right recto. Some leaves may be lacking.
Script: Written in a humanistic cursive script, probably by a single hand. Initial spaces with guide letters left blank.
Binding: Modern half leather.
Origin: Written in Italy in the 15th century (Zacour-Hirsch).
Formerly owned by Hermann Suchier (bookplate, f. 1r).
