The text is framed within a single red line or a double red line, up to fol. 87a. The ḥāshiyah is framed within a single red line on some leaves. Ḥāshiyah written so as to create a geometrical or vegetal motif on fol. 17a-21a, with gold. Light cream paper, glossy, with laid and chain lines visible... Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Lisān 7". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Ḥāʼ 976". Origin: Copy completed on Yawm al-khamīs 25 Shaʻbān 889 [Sept. 17, 1484] (colophon, fol. 174a). From the books of Aḥmad Najīb ibn Aḥmad Ṭāhir (ownership statement dated 1279 H. on fol. 2a).
