Small scrap of paper with assorted writing laid in between f. 234-235.
Cover worn, especially at edges and hinges. Possible evidence of slight worm damage on inside covers. First (blank, unnumbered) quire loose. Various smudges and stains. Edges of some leaves fraying and tearing. Evidence of repairs to some leaves.

Collation: Paper, ii + 235; 1-9⁸, 10¹⁰, 11-14⁸, 15⁸(-1), 16⁸, 17-19¹⁶, 20-22¹⁶, 23¹²(-2); [ii, 1-235]; contemporary foliation in ink, upper right recto, mostly trimmed away; modern foliation in pencil, lower right recto.
Script: Written in several different cursive scripts.
Decoration: Black initials with red ornamentation (f. 1r, 1v, 3r, 4r, 4v).
Binding: Early 16th-century full calf on wooden boards; clasps missing.
Origin: Written in Tuscany[?] in the 15th century (Zacour-Hirsch).
