Ms. roll. Physical description: Written in tiny naskh script in black, red, and gold inks on parchment. First 16 mm. backed by brown leather with gilded fillets, which serves as a protective cover when rolled up; recto is a drawing of a crescent moon within a gold circle. Next follows a polychrome illuminated header with the title in red. The remainder consists of charts bordered by gold with headings... Accompanying material: Thin wooden rod capped by two ivory buttons decorated with black inlay, 122 mm. long.
