Ms. codex. Title from label on inside of upper cover. Copy completed on 7 of Rajab 1276 (1860) -- colophon (fol. 135b). A reading statement in the name of Duhancı Mahmut Efendi, dated Rabīʻ al-Awwal 1278 (1861) on fol. 150b. 15 lines per page. Written in a medium small taʻlīq in black ink with use of red. Few pages at the start have a single line text frame in red ink. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Thin wove paper with "Bath" and "Papeterie Orientale a Smyrne" blind stamps, colored variously in different shades of yellow, pink, blue and green. Originally acquired by Robert Garrett from Abraham Shalom Yahuda ; 1942.
