Physical description: 25 lines per page; written in small, neat naskh in black on glazed, laid European paper. Text on fol. 1b-2a framed in silver; remainder of text framed in double red lines. Rubrication and catchwords; a few marginal notes. Foliated in Arabic script (no. 13 written twice; no. 64 skipped). Some staining, edges ragged, mild insect damage, a few paper repairs.
On fol. 1a: Owner's note of Mehmet Ali, teacher at the Camii Sultan Mehmet in Istanbul. Owner's note of Mehmet Kaşif Cemalüddin bin ... Ahmet Kaşif Cemalüddin, dated 5 Shaʻbān 1246 H [19 January 1831].
