Ms. codex. Title from the head piece on fol. 1b. 17 lines per page. Written in small nastaʻlīq in black ink with use of red. Text written within a frame divided in two columns, outlined in red ink. On ff. 1b-2a the frame is in gold and black, and fol. 1b has a small decorative head piece (ʻunwān) in gold and red ink. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Foliation in Arabic numerals in black ink. Glazed European paper. Fol. 94b has an inscription in the margin which reads: "Iş bu Gencine-yi raz-i nam-i kitab, kataba hakir Seyyid Mehmet Irfan, '45 (i.e. 1635-36). Ownership statement on fol. 95a in the name of Mehmet Yazıcı.
