17 lines per page. Written in very small nastaʻlīq in black ink with use of red. Text is within a frame outlined in red ink, except on ff. 2b and 3a where the frame is in gold leaf outlined in black ink. Fol. 2b has a small illuminated head piece in gold leaf. Glazed European paper.
Ownership stamp in the name of Sayyid Muḥammad Shams al-Dīn on fol. 1a.
Ownership signature on fol. 1a, hardly legible, in the name of Mustafa, the secretary [?] at the Imperial Council, dated 17th of the Jumādá al-Ākhirah [1]231 (1816).
