Ms. has numerous marginal and other annotations, especially in text 4 which is heavily annotated before and after the text, as well as in the margins and in between the lines of the main text, which makes it hardly legible. An inscription on fol. 50b dated 1176 [1762-63].
Collation: Paper ; fol. 105 ; catchwords.
Layout: 15 lines per page ; texts 2, 3, and 9 frame-ruled in red.
Description: Written in a variety of hands, ranging from small nastaʻlīq to medium naskh, in black ink ; rubricated.
Origin: [Hādhā Kitab ʻarūḍ Jāmī fī fann al-Fārisī] middle of Rabīʻ al-Ākhir 1127 [April 1715] (fol. 61a). Only this text is dated while some of the other texts, most notably those following text 4, are of similar or later date, those before text 4 appear to be older.
Ownership statement in the name of Hasan ibn Mustafa, dated 23 of Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1199 (1785), on fol. 72b (on same paper as text 5). - Keyword:
