Description: Rubricated ; catchwords.
Decoration: Texts are written inside a gold leaf frame outlined in black ink, with verses inside the frame also separated. Fol. 1b has an illuminated head piece (ʻunwān) made with green, blue, orange and purple watercolors and gold leaf.
Origin: Copied by Abdullah Şakir Şa'ranîzade, a kadi in Ada Pazarı, and completed in the last 10 days of Muḥarram 1222 (1807) -- colophon of text 5 (fol. 144b). All texts are in same hand and were copied continuously.
Ownership signature by the scribe, Abdullah Şakir Şa'ranîzade, accompanied by his seal impression on fol. 1a.
Originally acquired by Robert Garrett from Abraham Shalom Yahuda ; 1942.
