Text is written within a frame outlined in two lines of red ink, with verses within the text also separated into smaller sections. On fol. 2b-3a the frame is made with gold leaf outlined in black ink and one line of blue watercolor. Fol. 2b has an illuminated head piece (ʻunwān) executed in gold leaf and... Ownership statement in the name of Ibrahim Ethem, brother of Salih Aǧa, the Silahdar aǧası [?] at the Palace, dated 26 Ramaḍān '232 (1817) on fol. 2a. Stamp of bookseller Raif Yelkenci, Istanbul, on fol. 148b. A dedication in French to Mehmet Şerif in red crayon on verso of front flyleaf. Bookplate of the Library of Princeton University with the name of Bradford G. Martin on inside of upper cover.
