Text is within a gold leaf frame outlined in black ink, with columns and verses inside the frame also separated with lines in gold leaf outlined in black ink. Text frames on ff. 1b-2a are wider and are outlined with an additional line of red ink. Fol. 1b has an illuminated head piece executed in gold leaf with... An inscription on fol. 1a stating that the copy is "one of the works (eser-i hamelerinden) of the calligrapher Haffaf Zade Hüseyn Efendi".
