Ms. codex. Title from fol. 2a. 7 lines per page, except in the first section which has 15 lines per page. Written in medium naskh in black ink with use of red. Text is written inside a gold leaf frame outlined in black ink. Fol. 2b has an illuminated head piece in gold leaf with green, blue, red, yellow, orange, white and black watercolors. Illuminated headings, in gold leaf with orange, green, blue and white watercolors... A large oblong stamp in blue ink on fol. 2a, 2b, and again fol. 60b, mentioning a Hacı Osman Sivaslı and dated '134 (1721-22). Ownership statement after the end of text on fol. 60b in the name of Osman, known as el-Rüştü, dated 1208 (1793-94), and written in hand and ink very similar to that of the main text. Ownership statement in the name of Osman Efendi, dated 1262 (1846), on fol. 2a. Originally acquired by Robert Garrett from Abraham Shalom Yahuda ; 1942. Acquired from Abraham Shalom Yahuda.
