Written in a small, fairly casual naskh in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Text is within a frame outlined in one line of red ink. Foliation in Arabic numerals in black ink. Glazed European paper. Ff. 2b-3a have a table of contents in black and red ink, and ff. 3b-4a have a blank grid for the contents outlined in red ink. Short inscriptions on front pastedown and... Ownership statement on fol. 6a in the name of Ismail bin Mehmet. A note of purchase and a signature on fol. 6a by Ali Namik el-Meverdî, who bought the work from Süleyman Selâmî, dated '233 (1817-18).
