Illuminated head piece (ʻunwān) on fol. 1a, floral pattern made with gold leaf and red, blue, green, orange and purple ink. Text on ff. 1b and 2a within a double gilt frame ruled in black and red ink. The rest fo the text within a single-line frame ruled in red ink. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper. Copied by Ḥāfiẓ Khiḍr Ilyās, a member of the Palace Guards Cavalry, in the last ten days of Jumādá al-Ākhirah 1246 -- colophon (fol. 221a).
