Extent: 118 leaves : paper ; 176 x 111 (137-145 x 70-90) mm. bound to 178 x 114 mm.

On front cover: Label reading "433" in Arabic script.
Physical description: 19-22 lines per page; written in shikastah in black on machine-made paper. A few marginal notes. At the top of each page, the letters a m ʻ in Arabic script. In excellent condition.
Origin: Text 3 dated 8 Shawwāl 1295 H [1878] (fol. 85b). According to note on fol. 1a, ms. is a holograph.
On fol. 1a: At top of page, note dated 1321 which appears to be accompanied by the seal of Jaʻfar al-Ḥusaynī. In the middle of page, note dated 1339. At bottom of page, note dated 1333 by Muḥammad Bāqir al-Ḥusaynī; next to it is another seal of Jaʻfar al-Ḥusaynī.
