Physical description: 28-30 lines per page; written in naskh in black on glazed, laid European paper. Rubrication and catchwords. Fol. 1-11 appear to be written by a different hand, likely as a substitution for missing text; lacuna after fol. 11. Insert between fol. 70-71. Some staining, smudging and paper repairs.
Origin: Translation written during the time of Fatḥ ʻAlī Shāh (r. 1797-1834) (fol. 9b). This copy completed 1 Ramaḍān 1238 H. [12 May 1823] (fol. 264b).
On fol. 1a: Owner's note dated 26 Muḥarram 1257 H. [20 March 1841]. Owner's note and stamps of Rayḥān Allāh al-Mūsavī dated 17 Jumādá II 1322 H. [29 August 1904]. Note concerning text dated 1340 H. [1921 or 2]. Owner's note and stamp of ʻAlī ibn Muḥammad ʻAlī al-Ḥasanī.
