Physical description: 11 lines per page; written in nastaʻliq in black on glazed, laid European paper with visible fibers. Text on fol. 3b-4a framed in gold; remainder of text framed in red. Rubrication and catchwords; fol. 68b-72a in two columns. Light staining and smudging. In excellent condition.
Origin: Text 1 completed in Islāmbūl near the Ḥaz̤rat Ayyūb Anṣārī mosque in Rabīʻ II 1165 H [February-March 1752] (fol. 55a); text 2 likely completed soon afterwards.
On inner front cover, owner's note of al-Ḥasan al-Sawā. On fol. 1a, owner's note of al-Sayyid Yaḥyá Iḥyā.
