Additional spine label reads "Tuḥfat al-mulūk dar ḥaqīqat-i ʻaql 120" in Arabic script.
Dedicated to Fatḥ ʻAlī Shāh Qājār [r. 1797-1834] (fol. 2a).
Physical description: 25 lines per page; written in small, neat naskh in black on glazed, laid European paper bearing the watermark "Ben[i]to Picardo." Headings in red; keywords and Arabic quotations overlined in red. Occasional damp staining in margins. Illustrated with 17 colored diagrams and 24 charts.
Origin: Copy completed Dhū al-Ḥijjah 1260 H [December 1844 or January 1845] by ʻAbd al-Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad ʻAlī (fol. 295b).
On fol. 1a: Owner's note and stamp of Ḥājjī Muḥammad dated 1263 H [1846 or 7]. Owner's note dated 1353.
