Decoration: 4-line blue initial with red penwork; red 'L' and blue 'I' with red penwork as running head; rubricated section heading; spaces left for illuminated initials, but unfilled Caricature in lower center of recto
Layout: 2 columns of 43 lines ruled in lead, gloss hand set around the text as a formal frame, also ruled in lead, blank dividing column between the 2 text columns also divides the formal gloss into 2 sides above and below the text columns

Script: Gothic; noting hand for the informal gloss
The phrase, 'ripo puta,' is a transcription error of the Greek word 'prota'; the gloss begins, "Imperator quia imperat subdicis sic dicitur" and it ends "omnia nova placent sic."
