Physical description: 16 lines per page; written in nastaʻliq in black on glazed, laid European paper. Rubrication and catchwords; a few marginal notes. Arabic quotations in naskh and vocalized. Inserts. Some staining and a few paper repairs. Fol. 323-326 are replacements.
Origin: Bāb 1-2 completed 2 Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1155 H [29 December 1742] (fol. 234b). Bāb 3 completed in Jumādá II 1156 [July-August 1743] (fol. 324b).
Note on fol. 234b dated 1228 H [1813]. Numerous owner's stamps throughout ms.
