Ms. erroneously foliated beginning on second folio. Record follows erroneous foliation.
Physical description: 18 lines per page; written in small shikastah in black on machine-made paper. Rubrication and catchwords. Paginated in Arabic script beginning on fol. 8a. Fol. 90-91 stained. Text block almost complete detached from binding. Otherwise in good condition.
Origin: A note by a different hand states that the text was completed in Rajab 1052 H [September-October 1642] (fol. 119b); however, this contradicts the muqaddimah in which the author states he wrote his Miṣbāḥ al-ʻilāj for Nādir Shāh [r. 1736-47] (fol. 5a). According to Fihrist-i nuskhahʹhā-yi khaṭṭī-i Khāndān Maybudī, this text was completed in 1207 H [1792 or 3].
