Physical description: 30 lines per page; written in nastaʻliq in black on tan glazed, laid Arabic paper. Illuminated ʻunwān on fol. 1b is heavily smudged and in poor condition. Text framed in blue and gold. Arabic quotations vocalized and written in red in naskh. Rubrication and catchwords. Erroneously foliated in Arabic script; record follows Western foliation. Some paper repairs... Origin: 8 Rabīʻ I 899 H [17 December 1493] (fol. 196a). According to note by a later hand on fol. 1a, this ms. is in the handwriting of the author. Colophon is water stained and difficult to read. Note dated 1334 on fol. 1a.
