Several leaves bear an owner's stamp reading: ʻInda Ḥasan ibn Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad ʻAlī.
Label on p. 2 of cover reads: Dep. 9098.
Ms. in miniscule shikastan script on glazed, multicolored paper. 7.5 cm. x 14.7 cm. Text area framed in ruled lines of blue and gold. Contains 9 miniatures. Some catchwords; no vocalization. No marginalia.
Paper is glazed laid stock; leaves are of various hues: blue, salmon,cream, white, saffron. Some minor paper repairs to edges. Some stains, water damage and smudging. Some leaves slightly soiled. Some white leaves bear a watermark showing a medallion surrounded by a folial design and having a scalloped shield at the center.
Binding is leather. Spine has cloth repairs; covers have inlaid center mandorlas and corner pieces in white leather. Some inlay missing. Inlays have stamped floral designs. Doublures are leather.
Gift of Robert Garrett (Princeton Class of 1897), 1942.
