Ms. codex. Title from leaf 7, lines 16-17. Physical description: 25 lines per page; written in small, elegant nastaʻliq in black on tan glazed, laid Arabic paper. Rubrication and catchwords. Foliated in Arabic script, with errors. Lacuna after leaf 63. Leaves 272-274, 292-294, 311-315 are replacements. Extensive damp staining and mild insect damage. Part of leaf 1 torn away, resulting in some loss of text, and mended. Brown stain on... Decoration: Illuminated ʻunwān in gold and color on leaf 1b, in good condition. Text framed in blue, red, and gold. Origin: According to Moghadam, likely 18th century. Acquired from Widgery, Cambridge, 1925.
