Ms. composite codex. Title from text 1. Physical description, text 1: 182 x 109 mm; 10 lines per page; written in neat naskh in black on grayish-tan glazed, laid Arabic paper. Rubrication and catchwords; vocalized. Foliated in Arabic script. Leaves 24-25, 31-34 are replacements in nastaʻliq. Borders ink-stained; mild marginal damp staining and insect damage. Physical description, texts 2-4: 164 x 94 mm; 10 lines per page; written in nastaʻliq in black on tan, laid European paper. Script changes into taʻliq or shikastah on a few leaves. Catchwords; first leaf stained. Origin: Text 1 is likely early 19th century. Text 2 dated 1 September 1902, with the copyist's name in the form of a bird (leaf 42b). On leaf 34b, owner's note by Shaykh Ḥusayn valad-i Shaykh Laʻl, dated 1 Muḥarram 1242 H [5 August 1826]. Acquired from Widgery, Cambridge, 1925.
