On spine: Label reading "Faṣl al-khiṭāb li-Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad ibn Maḥmūd al-Ḥāfiẓ al-Bukhārī" and "Taz̲kirah li-aʼimmah" [partially effaced] in Arabic script.
Physical description: 21 lines per page; written in naskh in black on tan glazed, laid Arabic paper. Rubrication and catchwords. Extensive marginal notes, including two folios of notes which have been bound between fol. 308-309, 320-321. Extensive staining and numerous paper repairs, mainly marginal. Text unaffected by damage.
Origin: Text 2, 14 Shaʻbān 833 H [8 May 1430], Herāt, ʻAmd [?] ibn ʻUmar ibn Muḥammad (fol. 375b).
