The author's name is given on leaf 2b as al-Shaykh al-ajall al-ʻālim ghaws̲ al-vará Jalāl al-Ḥaqq va al-Ḥaqīqah va al-Sharʻ va al-Dīn al-Tabrīzī.
Physical description: 11 lines per page; written in nastaʻliq in black on glazed, laid Arabic paper. Rubrication and catchwords; marginal notes. Damp staining; some insect damage and paper repairs.
Origin: 12 Rabīʻ II year 1 [?], by Naṣr Allāh ibn Tāj Muḥammad ʻAbbās (leaf 19a). According to Moghadam, likely from the late 18th century.
On leaf 2a, stamp of Sayyid Mīr ʻAlī, dated 123-?; partially effaced owner's note. Acquired from Widgery, Cambridge, 1925.
