Script: Written in a Gothic bookhand in black ink. Red rubrics.
Decoration: Fol. 1: 6-line initial in red and blue; 2-line initials throughout alternate blue with red or red with blue, some historiated with seated or praying figures (e.g. fol. 36), possibly added later; fol. iv: 1/4 page miniature of King David at prayer.
Origin: Written in Germany in the fifteenth century. The inclusion of primarily monastic saints, including several feasts for St. Augustine, indicates that the manuscript was made for the use of Augustinian monks.
