Decoration: 1-line verse initials alternate blue with purple filigree or red with purple filigree. 6-line initial on recto in rose with blue, green, and gold scrolling acanthus into outer margin, historiated with the figure of a youth brandishing a club with green mountains and blue sky in background. Origin: Written in Italy in the late-fifteenth or early-sixteenth century.
