Authorship doubtful. Cortijo attributes text to Cristóbal de Toro based on numerous pieces of personal correspondence laid or tipped into the manuscript addressed to him.
Various hands, in black and brown inks. Text on both sides of leaves. Numerous errors in foliation and blank leaves.
Bound in quarter 18th cent. calf and marbled paper boards, spine gilt; green morocco spine label.
Watermarks: three superimposed circles topped with a crown, containing the letters G, D, and B; ovoid figure with inscribed cross.
