Decoration: Alternating red initials with blue penwork, and blue initials with red penwork; 3-line illuminated initial on f. 116r; Several; The script hand been elaborated in a few instances to profiles, or to the head of an eagle; simple red penwork monster.
Schneyer attributes the text to Thomas de Lisle, O.P., archbishop of Ely 1345, d. 1361; others have attributed it to Thomas Brito, Guibert de Tournai, or Thomas Lyld
