Layout: 21 long lines; double bounding lines ruled in hard point.
Script: Written in a hybrida script by one hand.
Decoration: Red monogram of Christ centered in upper margin of 1st page of text; headings in red; red initials and paragraph marks often with red pen-flourishing; 1-line initials slashed with red.
Binding: Parchment with floral paper covering; paper cut at corners, edges, and vertically towards spine, and parchment colored brown to resemble half-leather binding; stamped pattern on spine, painted gold, to resemble bands; also on spine, small gold flowers and an owl at tail; sewn end-bands laced in.

1. fol. 1r-26r: "[rubr.] Morali extrati del opera di Ceco Dascoli poeta ulgare eprima dela fortuna eventura [text] Non val ventura chi non sa fadica. Perfecto bene non fa senza pena ... Laso legancie e torno su nel vero. La fabule mi sono sempre nimiche [rubr.] Qui finisseno alcuni morali utoli e iocundi a sapere de Cesco [sic] Dascoli."
3. fol. 34v-36v: "[Iacopone da Todi: text] Dona del paradiso / el tuo fiolo e preso / Iesu Christo beato ... Se glie tolto el vestimento / lasame aver vedimento / Como el duro batimento" [text ends here, but catchword indicates continuation: "tuto la insanguinato"].
4. fol. 37r: "[beginning of text wanting] ... Conto ma beato numero sacrato cum santa Maria / miser San Stefano primo cavaliero / Laurenzo beato mori volentiera et ... Santa Katarina dongella cortese / de Iesu sposa cum beata Doratea / compagna cara cum Santa Margarita [rubr.] Amen."
