Note:

Fol. iv, recto, in ink: "Ex Biblioteca Yelensi." Phillipps number "2697" pasted on spine. On fol. 327v, stamp with a coat of arms and the year 1687 that reads: "Sello quarto, dies marevedis, a 10 de mil y seiscientos y ochenta y tres." Originally in Biblioteca Yelensi; later that of Fernando Moscosso, Marqués de Astorga; purchased from Thorpe by Thomas Phillipps.

Collation: Paper, fol. 338; 12 2-78 86 (+2) 9-428 438 ( -1); quires from 3 on are signed 1-41; catchwords at bottom of each folio, verso. Foliated i-x, 1-327, with 2 folios numbered 1.
Layout: Unruled; 31-37 lines per page.
Script: Cursive; many different scribes.
Decoration: Large woodcut of a knight and lady on fol. iv, recto; woodcut of a knight on horseback on fol. x, recto. Decorated chapter initials in various styles.
Binding: Contemporary binding of limp vellum, originally with thong ties on side (only one remains). Four raised thongs, sewn in. Title on spine: "Lidamarte de Armenia." Watermark (cross in heart, initials "ARA" below) on fol. ix.
Origin: Produced in Spain in 1590 for Don Luis Enriquez de Cabrera, Almirante de Castile.
