Layout: Written in 29 lines: vertical lines ruled in lead, horizontal rules in ink.
Script: Round humanistic script; notes and emendations in humanistic cursive book script.
Decoration: Fol. 1 and 53: 8- and 7-line vine-stem gold initials on blue, green, and purple ground: elsewhere 6-line initials in blue on squared ground of floral and geometric patterns; 2-line initials in red and blue with red flourishes; paragraph signs alternating red and blue.
Binding: Bound in modern red morocco by Broca.
Origin: Written in Italy in the 15th century.
