Collation: Parchment, fol. iii (modern paper) + 224 + iii (modern paper); 1-68 74 8-158 166 17-218 228 ( -2) 23-246 25-318 326 332 348 (+2); catchwords at the end of each quire, framed with single decoration, quires signed a-[s] (red ink).
Layout: 2 columns of 30 lines; frame-ruled in ink; pricks visible in outer margin.
Script: Written in a gothic script by one hand.
Decoration: Chapter titles in red and blue; 2-line initials in blue with pen-flourishing in ink.
Binding: 19th cent. parchment over pasteboard; gold tooling with stamped gold fleurons and dentelles; hollow spine with 4 decorative raised bands; black morocco spine label with gold lettering: "Wiclif's Newe Testament MS. circa 1380"; marbled endpapers. Binding partly detached.
