Collation: Parchment, fol. iii (paper) + 174 + ii (paper); 1-510 68 7-1710 186(this quire added later and made with slightly smaller and lower quality parchment).
Layout: 2 columns, in 33 lines, frame-ruled in ink; vertical lines run length of page. Centered and flourished catchword at end of each quire.
Script: 2 scribes: fol. 1-166v by scribe 1 in rounded gothic hand, with various inks and different degrees of control; fol. 166v-174v by scribe 2, also in gothic.
Decoration: 5-line primary initials in blue with red decoration and flourishes; 2-line secondary initials in red; 1-line capitals and rubrics also in red.
Binding: Modern vellum binding over pasteboard with yapp edges; 3 flat bands; decorative woven endband.
Origin: fol. 1r-166v (quires 1-17) produced in northern Italy ca. 1450; fol. 166v-174v (end of quire 17 and quire 18) written at the end of the 15th or beginning of the 16th cent., probably by a nun at the monastery of the Poor Clares of S. Maria di Rosate in Bergamo, since fol. 168v-171r recounts a miracle that led to the foundation of that monastery.
