Decoration: Elaborated illuminated or historiated initials in gold paint and several colors, many trailing into the margins. Fully rubricated in red and blue.
Binding: Full calf dated 1568; silver corners and clasps are probably 17th century additions. Sections of Bible marked with original vellum taps (a few missing). In black straight-grain morocco case.
Layout: Two columns, 51 lines.
Script: French gothic hand.
