Script: Written in brown ink in a gothic script in at least 4 different hands. Decoration: Decorated initials in red, some with pen flourishing; miniature in upper left-hand corner (95 x 82 mm) representing a standing bishop (with mitre and crosier) and two kneeling tonsured monks in prayer on a blue ground with stars. Origin: Copied and illuminated for the Cofradía Mayor of the town of Medinaceli, Spain in the second quarter of the 14th century.
